"Papa! I don't want to get married yet!" Alejandra argued a frown replacing her smile."You are of age and many young women, even younger than you, are already married!" Ramiro stated shocked and quite angry at his daughter's outburst."Papa I want to get married on my own accord not because you think I should. And let alone married to a man I don't even know!" Alejandra growled and stormed off."Alejandra!" Ramiro began, but was interrupted by Devante."No let her go, give her sometime to think it over." Ramiro sighed and nodded in agreement."I just don't want her to be alone when I'm gone, I want her to be happy, ever since her mother Raeka died.... She's never been the same bubbly young girl I've known for the longest time." Ramiro looked down at the wooden deck as the tears began to fall from their keep.
The Aleron finally docked and Ramiro lead his still fuming daughter and Devante off of the ship and into their carriage and waited for the men to load their baggage."Alejandra, will you at least look happy to be here, we will be meeting the Governor and his daughter along his daughter's fiancee!" Ramiro exclaimed heatedly. Alejandra turned to look at her father and a fake smile graced her full lips."Is this good enough for you papa?" Alejandra asked glaring at her father."Yes, and will you please not embarrass me in front of the Governor and his family?" Ramiro asked frowning at his daughter's tone. Alejandra didn't answer him, she just stared out the carriage's window and glared at nobody in particular. What seemed like hours to Alejandra were only mere minutes when they arrived at the large estate. With the help of the footman Alejandra got out of the carriage with ease. The next to come out was Devante and then her father. Ramiro told the driver to drop their baggage off at their own estate and take the baggage inside. And Devante told the driver for his baggage to just leave them on the carriage considering he won't be long.
The three walked over to the large European doors and knocked, the butler answered the door and welcomed them in and asked them to wait for the master of the house. Alejandra looked around showing not much concern for it's beauty. The middle-aged Governor walked into the room and smiled."Hello, Senor Amistad! And who is this young beauty that is accompanying you." the Governor greeted."Governor Swann its a pleasure to finally meet you, oh this is my daughter Alejandra, and this young man is one of her suitors, Devante." Ramiro smiled warmly and shook the man's, who's a year or two older than him, hand."The pleasure is all mine, Senor, please follow me to the patio!" Governor Swann smiled and showed them the way to the patio. Now this was a sight Alejandra was definitely thought was the most beautiful part of the whole mansion.
There were flowers and trees everywhere, the flowers surrounded the marble square that was the patio and there sitting at a small round table was an exceptional beautiful woman and a very handsome man. Alejandra's breath caught when her eyes landed on the dark haired male sitting next to the dirty blonde woman."Senor Amistad, this is my daughter Elizabeth and her Fiancee William Turner." the owner of the mansion introduced. The woman named Elizabeth stood up and smiled and held out her hand and shook Ramiro, Devante, and Alejandra's hands." Elizabeth, William, this is Senor Ramiro Amistad and his daughter Alejandra, and their friend Devante." Governor Swann stated."Please to meet you Senores and Senorita." William finally spoke and bowed in respect. His gaze never wondering from Alejandra's."Will I never knew you knew a bit of Spanish!" Elizabeth stated shocked."My mother was Spanish and she taught me how to speak it as well as write it." Will answered and sat down in his seat after Elizabeth and Alejandra sat down."Well, I guess we learn something new everyday!" Governor Swann grinned and sat down next to Ramiro.
"Senorita Amistad, do you want some tea?" Elizabeth asked, using her new found vocabulary word."No thank you, Miss Swann." Alejandra said softly trying not to blow up at the English woman for using her native language. Even though Alejandra just met Elizabeth she felt so uneasy around her, especially since she was sitting next to the blonde woman. Alejandra just sat there looking at her lap while her father Devante and Governor Swann talked about politics. She then felt someone's eyes on her, looking up her eyes came to look into the pools of Will's dark brown eyes."Yes, Mr. Turner?" Alejandra whispered finding her voice."Nothing, I was just thinking, for some reason I feel like I've seen you before." Will answered and looked over at Elizabeth who took his hand into her own. Jealously erupted from the pit of Alejandra's stomach, and she soon found herself questioning why? She only met him a few moments ago and he was getting married to the most beautiful woman she has ever seen since her mother.
Alejandra moved the lock of black hair that fell into her face. Looking back down into her lap and began to play with the skirt of her red dress. The dress complimented her brown almost black eyes as well as the pale tan of her skin, making her an Enchantress without her even realizing it. Yet she still felt the familiar gaze of the man sitting across from her as well as Devante's lustful glances every five minutes."Papa, will you please excuse me?" Alejandra finally said after twenty minutes of her silence and got up."¿Por qué razones mi hija?"[1] Ramiro asked his daughter."No me siento que el pozo y yo quisiéramos conseguir un poco de aire fresco."[2] Alejandra whispered still looking down."Claro que si Alejandra por suspesto y el bete de la sensación pronto."[3] Ramiro nodded."I will papa.." Alejandra said softly and walked off into the garden. Governor Swann and Elizabeth had a look of confusion and was even more confused when Alejandra got up and left."What's wrong with her?" Elizabeth asked her father. Governor Swann just shrugged."She wasn't feeling well so she asked to be excused." Will answered while watching Alejandra walk off. Alejandra sat down on a bench that was in a maze of different colored roses.
"Why do I feel like I do? I don't even know him and yet he said I looked familiar to him." Alejandra spoke to herself."Why does my heart beat faster every time I look into his beautiful eyes?" she continued. Not known to her young Mr. Turner was also questioning his feelings. 'What is wrong with me? I love Elizabeth, and why did I say she looked familiar? Bloody hell, what is wrong with me? Where is Jack when you need him?' Will thought to himself, not even paying attention to what Elizabeth let alone his soon to be Father-in-law and his guests."I'm sorry, Governor Swann, Elizabeth, Senores, I am in dire need of fresh air, if you will excuse me please." Will stood up abruptly, bowed and walked in the same direction that Alejandra took. Soon finding himself lost in the labyrinth of flowers, Will groaned and then heard the soft beautiful voice of the Spanish Enchantress cast it's spell upon him. Not only the sound of her voice but also her physical beauty."Do you mind some company?" Will asked while sitting next to Alejandra causing her to jump out of shock...
