Then two other hobbits stuck their heads out from behind two pillars behind Lord Elrond and ran foreward as well pushing through Elrond's legs causing him to look down in shock and surprise at the same time." Oi! Were coming too! You have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us." Merry spoke quickly standing on the right side of Frodo with Pippin." Anyway, you need intelligence on this sort of mission...quest...thing!" Pippin said alittle too proud on what he said and Merry looked at him at him with a frown." Well that rules you out, Pip!" Merry said sarcasticly earning a nod from Pippin who realized after two seconds on what Merry said to look at him and give him a glare.
Ainawen giggled and looked at her father." Ten companions, so be it! You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring." Elrond said proudly. Pippin smiled and huffed up his shoulders in happiness." Great! So....Where are we going?!" Pippin asked earning a glare from Merry and few smirks and smiles from the rest of the fellowship. He looked at them and shrugged." What? I was only asking!" Pippin defended himself. Ainawen and Annonia shook their heads in amusement.
Ainawen was i the study with her family." Ainawen please don't go!" Elladan whispered he didn't want to lose his sister again." Elladan, leave Ainawen alone she has made her choice." came the voice of the long quiet Lord Elrond. he was looking out through the gaps of the pillars." But ada!" Elrohir cried out." Elrohir, Elladan ada is right it's Ainawen's choice let her do what she wishes." Arwen said softly as she had one arm over her younger sister's shoulders.
" She has beem through enough already she doesn't need to go through more!" Elladan argued. Elrond sighed and walked over to his daughters." She is old enough to choose what she wants to do so let her do it," Elrond began grief was heard in his voice for he missed so many years of his daughter's life and he also wished she didn't have to go but he knew she would have too." You look so much like your mother my little maiden. So much like her, she will be proud if you do this but then again she's always been proud of you of all of you." Elrond continued and wrapped one arm around Ainawen and Arwen. He held out his free arm to his sons which they came and towards him and came under their father's arm.
" Thank you ada. This means so much to me.." Ainawen whispered into Elrond's chest. It wasn't long before Ainawen was out walking in the gardens. She smiled as she did she hasn't seen since she left which was a long time ago in this time. In the time she was in it was only two years. But here it was over eight hundred years. She smiled as she took one of the blooming buds of a rosebush in her hands. Ainawen didn't notice a certain elven prince was sitting in a tree not to far away watching her.
That was when Annonia walked towards her." Little maiden he wishes to see you," Annonia spoke while doing so she earned a grief stricken expression from her princess." Do you wish to see him?" Annonia continued she saw Ainawen take in a deep breath and nod slightly. Annonia bowed and disappeared to retreive who wishes to see her princess. Legolas frowned at what he heard.' Who is this man that Annonia told Ainawen that he wished to see her?' Legolas thoughts invaded his once calm collected mind.
His question was answered when a tall, mortal man with dark hair wearing black battle armor and a long black cape came striding towards Ainawen." Serena!" The man cried and embraced the female elf. Legolas felt his heart shatter into a million pieces." My name is not Serena Endymion it is Ainawen." Ainawen said softly pulling out of her ex-lover's arms." Ser- Ainawenplease come back home with me please I'm sorry I said all those things because I didn't mean them!" The man named Endymion said.
Annonia walked over to him." She cannot leave Prince if she leaves she will get sick and die she needs to stay here." The elder woman spoke causing the mortal to look at Ainawen." Is it true my love? Or are you using this as an excuse to stay away from fighting?!" Endymion yelled at Ainawen. Ainawen's eyes closed as she took a deep breath and raised her left hand and slapped the man she once loved.
" How dare you say such things! I would die of sickness if I left my home again! I also left because of you! And because my home needs me! Your world can wait mine cannot!" Ainawen screamed tears streaming down her face causing the male figure infront of her to gasp. Legolas couldn't take it anymore he was about to jump off the tree limb and punch the living daylights out of the mortal causing his maiden's tears." If that is what you wish then so be it..." Endymion said quietly and left. Annoia bowed and walked away making sure the mortal had actually left.
Legolas watched as Ainawen sat down on a bench and sobbed. His heart broke just hearing her cry so he jumped down from his perch on the tree limb he was standing on and landed on the ground. He walked over to her and sat next to the sobbing female elf. He put his arms around her and held her until her sobs diseased. She looked up at Legolas and thanked him silently. He nodded in understanding and let her go." He should not have said those things." Legolas spoke he looked infront of him at the roses.
" No he shouldn't have but we cannot change what has happened or what was said." Ainawen said softly she looked at the handsome elf sitting next to her and a blush adorned her cheeks." You deserve to be treated with the utmost respect and nothing less." Legolas said looking at AInawen and noticed her blush and he smiled when she tried to hide it. He took her chin in his right hand and pulled her face up to meet his. His thumb moved gently across her soft skin and his hand brushed against her cheek more causing Ainawen to close her eyes in delight of the soft touch.
Legolas leaned foreward slightly and brushed his lips against hers. He figured she would pull away and slap him but she didn't. She did quite the opposite she pressed her lips against his and moved one of her arms around his neck to pull him closer. His tongue grazed the bottom lip asking for entrance and she moaned and opened her mouth slightly. And moaned wehn his tongue brushed against hers.
The kissed lasted for only a few minutes but to them it last for much longer. Legolas pulled away slightly and looked into the eyes of his maiden. She smiled and laid her head on his chest.

Morning came all to quick for the fellowship they were standing infront of Lord Elrond and many other elves. Elrond looked at his daughter and smiled then his gaze over to the rest of the fellowship. He nodded his goodbye and watched the men and woman walk away. It was as soon as they were out of Rivendell's borders that Gandalf was in front Ainawen behind him followed by Legolas, Gimli, the little hobbits, Boromir, and last Aragorn." We must hold this course West for forty days. If our luck holds, Gap of Rohan will still be open to us. From there our road turns East to Mordor." Gandalf spoke as they walked on.
