Gandalf had a grim look in his eyes." Let the ringbearer decide....Frodo?" Gandalf questioned. Frodo looked around desperately hoping someone would give him any sign to where they would travel next but recived none." Hurry! I cannot hold the barrier much longer!" Ainawen cried out winceing slightly as she tried to keep the barrier from collapsing." We will go through the mines!" Frodo cried thinking it will be best to get out of the cold quickly. Gandalf pursed his lips together and closed his eyes and reopened them." So be it.." Gandalf whispered.

An hour or so pasted before they reached the Walls of Moria. The sun began to set and a mist began to form. Gimli gasped and pointed." The Walls of Moria...." Gimli whispered in shock. The night soon came as they reached the Doors to Moria. Pippin was troubled by the quietiness as Gandalf tried desperately to get the password correct and he then turned to Ainawen." Ainawen can you sing us a song." Pippin asked looking at her sweetly. Ainawen sighed and nodded.
As Ainawen finished Pippin and Merry and Sam clapped silently." That was beautiful Ainawen." Pippin said happily." Thank you Pippin." Ainawen smiled and leaned on Legolas's shoulder...........
" It's a riddle, Gandalf what's the elvish word for friend?" Frodo spoke excitingly and strided over to the doors." Mellon." Gandalf answered and grinned when the doors opened. Ainawen kept a close eye on the water as she walked into the mines. Gandalf, Legolas, Aragorn, Gimli, and Boromir first walked in. The Hobbits and Ainawen walked in last." Soon Master Elf, you will enjoy the fabled hospitality of the dwarves! Roaring fires, Malt Beer, Red meat of the bone! This my friend is the home of my cousin Balin. And they call it a mine. A Mine!" Gimli bragged about the Mines of Moria.
Boromir glanced around and his eyes narrowed." Tis not a mine. It's a tomb." Boromir stated grimly. The fellowship looked around the hobbits gasped Ainawen looked back from her spot near the door of the mines. Gimli gasped and looked around." No! Noo! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Gimli yelled into the mines. Legolas eyes widened and ran over to a skeleton of a dwarf and pulled out an arrow he studied it and threw it down." Goblins!" Legolas cried and pulled out his own arrow and bow.
" We make for the Gap of Rohan. We should never have come here! Now get out of here! Get Out!" Boromir cried out and began making his way towards the door. The rest of the fellowship began to back out as well. Frodo began to stumbled over something he looked around on the ground to find nothing then suddenly tentacles shot out from the water and one of them wrapped itself around Frodo's ankle.
" Strider!" Sam shouts as he cut the tentacle that held Frodo. Aragorn and Ainawen saw and began running towards them. Suddenly the tentacles waved and shot out knocking the hobbits away from Frodo. Legolas took his bow and loaded it and shot the Guardian." Save your arrows Legolas!" Ainawen yelled and she formed a trident out of thin air, and began to talk in some language they could not recognize. The Guardian let Frodo go and Boromir caught him and ran into the mines followed by Aragorn, the hobbits and Ainawen then Legolas.
Something happened then they did not expect the The Guardain shot out from the water and began to attack them. They ran into the doors and the monster tried to get to them, but since The Guardian as so heavy and pushing it's weight against the stone doors they collasped bocking one of the only ways out. Gandalf tapped the ground with his staff and a light came from it. The fellowship looked at each other then to Gandalf." We now have but choice. We must face the long dark of Moria. Be on your guard. There are more older and fouler things than orcs in the deep places of the world," Gandalf whispered." It's a four day journey to the other side. Let us hope our presence may go unnoticed." Gandalf continued and began to guide the way through Moria. The fellowship followed without question.
