Disclaimer: Ok here you go a new story called the City of Angels hope you like it I do own Victor and the little orphan i do not own Serene* aka Usagi* or Wufei.
The City of Angels, ha it's more like the City of Drugs. This beautiful city is not like it used to be. It used to be filled with happiness and a near zero crime rate but now everything's changed. The police don't do a damn thing now, and what did that do it changed our safe little town. This is the town I now live in, it is ruled by a man named Jedah Morgan. Who am I you ask? My name is Serene Parker. I changed it when I was old enough it used to be Usagi, Usagi Tsukino. But no more. The Sailor Soldiers lost their powers for a normal life. How do I know you ask? Well, because I was one of them.
I am twenty-four years old I live in an apartment but I have it all to myself it has only one floor and one big room. My bed in the center, my shower only a few feet away and my couch around ten feet away from my bed. No TV I work in a tattoo parlor around four blocks away from my home. So I walk to work, all my friends went their separate ways so did I. I graduated but didn't go to college like Amy and become a doctor. Or become a famous model like Mina. Or even a Shinto Priestess like my friend Raye. I didn't become a chef like Lita, No I became a tattoo artist for this poor old city of Tokyo.
" Hey love how's it going?" a man in his late sixty's cried out. Serene looked up from her customer." Hey Victor I'm good, how about you?" Serene answered happily. Victor is like a father to me always overprotective ever since my parents died he took me in and cared for me." I'm doing great love, thanks for asking." Victor replied happily. Serene smiled and went back to finishing up her customer." Ouch that hurts!" the man said." Well, now you know why they call me the Goddess of Pain!" Serene laughed out.
It wasn't until when I was on my way home I found a small girl in a doorway an orphan maybe I don't know. She had a packet with a mouse man with bunny ears on his head design sitting next to her feet. I sighed it was a packet of Jedah's cocaine. I walked over to her and sat next to her." You know you shouldn't live like this." Serene said to the little girl." What would you care?" the orphan spoke quite rudely." You hungry? Would you like some coffee or something, maybe a hot-dog?" Serene continued ignoring her question. The orphan nodded and got up Serene followed the suit and took her hand and walked her to a concession stand and bought her some food and something to drink.
I hate to see things like that they make me sick knowing that Jedah was selling his drugs to little children. I sighed again and went over to my door and unlocked it and closed the door behind me. I went over to my bed and plopped down. Not even bothering to take off my clothes. I petted my cat's soft black fur and listened to it's purring. It was calming for that was what I needed. I sighed once more and sat up and took off my black bodice type top and my black jeans and combat boots and went over to my shower.
I turned it on and let the warm water soothe my aching muscles. My tattoo on my back was a pair of black feathered angel wings that went down to my waist. My short blonde hair with black highlights went past my shoulders I washed it with some rose shampoo and conditioner. After I was done in the shower I got dressed back into my clothes that I was wearing earlier and laid back down on my bed and fell asleep. It was while I was sleeping that I had a vision.
A young man was running, running away from something or someone. His shoulder length black hair had come out of it's ponytail as he ran pulling out a gun and shot at his pursuer. The gun ran out of bullets at they missed the target. Click! was the only sound that came from the gun." Shit! Why now? Why Now?!" The young man screamed and turned into an alley that lead to a dock. The pursuer followed and shot the young man three times. The bullets missed the young man and he jumped into the lake and began to swim, swim for any shore he could find.
When he found that shore he was tired more tired than any time he was before. His shoulders ached, his legs hurt. He also was breathing in and out heavily. He had lost his pursuer or so he thought. The man may have stopped following him but he did not stop hunting him.
That was when I had awakened. I got up and ran out my door and ran as fast as I could to the place where I went when I was younger when I wanted to be alone. And there he was in his prime. Unconcious, dried mud all over his body from the murky waters he swam in. I was at his side instantly I check his pulse and it was there faint but still there. I sighed with relief and laid next to him I took his hand in mine and waited for him to awaken. It wasn't long before he did.
I don't know it was an hour maybe fifteen minutes but I didn't care I was there with him. His beautiful facial structure, his tanned skin, semi-long black hair his exquisite, muscles showed on his lower abdomen and his arms with the wetness of his shirt you could see it all. He was perfect in everyway if there is such a thing. He began to stir and I sat up still holding his hand not letting it go not for an instant. He groaned out in pain and opened his beautiful eyes. Oh those beautiful deep chocolate brown eyes.
He ripped his hand away from mine and scooted away from me almost as if in fright. He was breathing heavily and he coughed and took in deep long breaths." Who are you?" The young man asked." My name is Serene Parker and you are?" Serene asked the handsome young man." Wufei, Wufei Chang." The young man named Wufei answered he coughed again." I saw what happened to you. I saw it in my dream earlier tonight. That is how I found you." Serene then spoke quietly but Wufei heard." Thank you." Wufei said with sincerity." Your welcome." Serene replied.
And that is how I met him. The man in my dreams. The man in my paintings that I have painted over the last few days. I took him to my apartment if that is what you call it. He looked around he saw all of my paintings I knew he liked them I could see it in his eyes. What is it about him that draws me to love him when I bearly even know him? That is the question I asked myself over and over again. But somehow I knew why he was here. He was here to stop Jedah I just knew it I didn't know how but I did.
" Beautiful." Was all Wufei could say." Thank You." Serene said quietly." You painted these?" He asked surprised. Serene just nodded he smiled his perfect smile. That smile made my knees weak oh that beautiful smile. I knew then I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him but it was not ment to be. Or was it? I did not know the answer to that question at that time. Will I ever know that answer? My crystal will not tell me. Neither will my heart or my dreams. Not even my instincts will tell me. Wufei my love, why can't I understand you?
