Sometimes when I was little I wondered why I was put onto this Earth. Not because Queen Serenity did so, but I think it was because of you. It was because of you Wufei that I survived this long. If you hadn't come I might be dead right now not because of drugs, or suiside. Probably by rape or being in the wrong place at the wrong time. But now your here.
" I have to go now." Wufei said after a long silence." Will you come back?" Serene asked softly." I don't know." That was his answer." Answer me this one question. Why was that man after you?" Serene questioned her sapphire blue eyes full of curiosity. Wufei looked away." Because...... He was hunting me.... I knew too much for his liking so he tried to kill me. I have to go now good-bye" Wufei answered as he looked back up at Serene and walked out.
It shattered my heart to watch him leave but I knew he had to and I couldn't stop him. The next night I woke up. It was around six in the evening, I had to get to work so I got off my bed and took a shower and put on a short black dress with a black corset and my trademark combat boots. I put my hair into a low ponytail and walked out of my apartment locking the door behind me. When I walked in to " The Gargoyle" or in other words the tattoo parlor I work in. Victor was in there working on a customer. He looked up to see me and smiled.
" Hello love!" Victor spoke up." Hey Victor." That was Serene's reply as she went over to her chair that she uses for her work. After work I stayed there for about ten minutes." here love I got you something." Victor said pulling out a skull candy." Oh thank you Victor that was sweet of you." Serene spoke taking the candy from him and kissed Victor's cheek. She opened the wrapper and saw that there was a whole in the bottom of the candy so she turned it over to find a piece of paper. She pulled it out and read it.
" Death is only the beginning after life. I like that." Victor got up and was about to walk out the door when he stopped and turned to her." You wanna go out for a beer?" Victor asked." No thanks I have to get home. I haven't been getting much sleep lately." Serene answered and looked at Victor." Ahh. Who's the lucky devil?" Victor grinned." It's not that I just been having these strange dreams thats all." Serene answered Victor just shook his head." Sure it is. If he hurts you love let me know and I'll throttle him. Oh and don't for get to lock up love." Came Victor's reply as he walked out the door." I won't.." Serene replied softly as the door closed.
After I locked up and went home i took one of my unfinished paintings and began to complete it. It had Wufei in it there were lots of people standing and watching. And Wufei was holding someone in his arms, a woman. I don't know what was with the painting but I just had a feeling something like that was going to happen.
' I walked down the streets of this destroyed city I saw a small girl sitting in a doorway. An orphan, it looked as though she just got done with a packet of cocaine. I couldn't stand it I went over to her and crouched down.' The girl looked up." Who are you?" she asked." Wufei..." He answered as he picked up the empty packet. He held it in his hands and he snapped his fingers with the paper between them and it lit on fire. The young girl gasped in delight. Wufei put out the flames and looked at her." How did you do that?" The orphan asked." Magic. We all have it inside us even you." Wufei smiled at the little girl and got up and he walked away.
' Duo would have laughed if he saw me now. Running away from a man when originally I would shoot him down. But no not this time, this time the enemy is dangerous he controlled the whole city. he had his flunkies that does his dirty work. I found ut their names not too long ago. I planned to go from the bottom of the food chain and work my way up. The first person I will kill. His name is Donovian a man who likes to play with knives.'
