When I was finally regaining my voice, "Where should I meet you?"
"Since it’s getting late how about we just go now?" He asked.
"Oh, sure." I said. "Fiona tell Van that I went out."
"Alright!" She said waving goodbye as she left. I followed Sakone to this fancy restaurant.
Amazed by being at a place so expensive (which I’ve only been at that type when I was still with my x-boyfriend McMan.). As we sat down the waiter gave us our menus "Pick what ever you’d like my dear." Sakone said.
As we ate our banquet he asked if I would like to take a stroll around the park. I thought to myself god this is a dream come true. As we walked around we talked about our interests and things. We came to where we first met. "Ah Moonbay it was a pleasure having dinner with you." He said he took my hand and kissed it then kissed me.
I stood there and said my farewell and then started walking to the military base. When I came to the military base Fiona was waiting for me to tell her about my date with Sakone. As I told her about the night she stood there in amazement. "I can’t believe it he sounds like he’s perfect!" Fiona said.
"Well he’s one of the most perfect guys I know." I said.
"Hey what are you guys talking about?" Irvine said. He, Van, Tomas, and Zeke walked into the room. "Well I just came back from a date with chief’s son." I said in a delightful way.
"Back to your normal ways again Moonbay?’’ Irvine said in an angry way leaning on the wall.
"Well I can’t help it if I fell in love with the guy and no Irvine not for his money." I commented back to him. "Well I’m off to bed so night." I yawned heading to Fiona’s and mine’s room (earlier we were all sleeping in the big room since we hadn’t got our bedrooms yet.).
I took out the hair ties out of my hair and climbed into bed. I found my self in that dream again. I moaned why do I have to be here? I thought to myself. I looked around to see a little girl crying. That girl I thought to myself is me. But how could it be? I asked myself. As I walked up to the little girl or me should I say. "Oh… are you okay?" I asked her.
She didn’t answer. I tried to touch her but my hands went right through her. Out of know were these people from a different village came out. "Hey you how about we take you to our village so that you’ll be safe?" they asked the past me.
The past me cried and ran to one of the women’s arms. I stood there finally remembering how I got to the other village. I thought to myself who did this to my village? I woke up with a jolt. I got out of my bed and walked out of the room. Not paying attention I smacked into Tomas. "Sorry." I mumbled but noticed that he was fast asleep right there apparently he slept walked I mused. Most likely that’s why he never was in his bed when we go to wake him up.
I went in to the room were all the Zoids are. Trying to hold back the tears I cried silently to myself. "How could I not remember my own past of what happened to me when my village was destroyed? I mean at least Fiona had an excuse being in a frozen state for so long." I mumbled to myself out loud sitting on the ground with my hand on my forehead. "What are you talking about Moonbay?" Irvine asked he was still leaning on the wall and I hadn’t even noticed.
I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes. "It’s nothing Irvine." I said.
"Alright then don’t tell me what’s wrong." He said. "But I know you all too well and I know when something’s wrong."
I looked down. "I remembered what happened to me in my real village." I said and with that I left the room.
